RANKED JACKS:Â The Jackrabbit men's shot put throwers found themselves ranked sixth on the USTFCCCAÂ #EventSquad Rankings with an average throw of 57-5.00.
#EventSquad Rankings EXPLAINED (via USTFCCCA.ORG):
USTFCCCA #EventSquad rankings places a rank order to a program's "squad" of athletes in a particular event, using the cumulative season-best qualifying marks from a team's top-four ranked athletes on the national descending-order list. As with the national descending-order list for qualifying and seeding purposes, marks are subject to be converted due to track size and/or altitude. A team must have four or more athletes with a valid season-best mark recorded with TFRRS to achieve a ranking in a particular event.
Daniel Clarke holds the top mark across the Summit League in the men's long jump with his leap of 24-0.25 from the SDSU Holiday Invite and Multi on Dec. 6.Â
On the women's side, Elise Emmick holds the top Summit League 5,000 mark with her 18:34.81 posted at the SDSU Div. II Classic. Addison Eisenbeisz's 5-7.25 high jump mark also ranks her first in the conference.Â
The Jackrabbits return to the SJACÂ Feb. 14 and 15 for the SDSU Indoor Classic in the SJAC.Â
