ALCOHOL SALES
In order to purchase alcohol, all fans — regardless of age — must present a valid ID at designated stations in tailgating areas or stadium concourses to receive a wristband on your right wrist for that day's game. When making your first purchase of alcohol in the stadium, you must present your ID again at the point of sale to receive that day's stamp on the same hand. You must have that day's wristband and stamp in order to purchase alcohol in the stadium. Board policy requires each fan to have his or her ID on them at all times as age verification will take place at points of sale and beyond.
Stadium gates open 90 minutes prior to kickoff, with alcohol sales — consisting of beer and seltzer only — starting one hour prior to kickoff and ending at the conclusion of the third quarter as per BOR policy. Two sections within Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium have been designated as alcohol-free zones: Section 207 in the west grandstand and Section 123 on the east side. All transactions at alcohol kiosks in the stadium concourses will be processed by credit card only. For SDSU students, payment via campus meal plans will not be accepted for alcohol sales.
BAGS
South Dakota State Athletics implemented bag restrictions at all Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium football-related events starting March 1, 2021, to further ensure the safety of all patrons and employees. Additionally, this policy serves to speed up check-in times for guests. Opaque bags larger than 4.5 x 6.5 will not be allowed in any of our venues. Patrons who are in possession of items that are larger than this bag size shall be denied entry. Under no circumstances will an employee accept a bag for safe keeping, take possession of any such bag or otherwise control such bag. All bags are subject to search. PARKING
In order to enter the parking lots on the west side of the stadium from the US Highway 14 Bypass, vehicles must have a valid parking pass for those areas. Reserved lots east of the stadium are to be accessed from Jackrabbit Avenue. In addition, several pay lots for general parking are located south of North Campus Drive. Cost is $10 per stall and transactions are cashless. Please refer to the 2026 Gameday Parking Map to see paid parking lot locations.

Jackrabbit Club parking lots will be divided into three zones based on cardinal direction. These zones are Zone Northwest, Zone Southwest and Zone East. Each summer, Jackrabbit Club members with football season tickets will have the opportunity to select parking based off membership level in one of three zones. Passes will be specific to Zone NW, Zone SW or Zone E, allowing Jackrabbit Club members to park in any lot inside their selected zone on game day. Jackrabbit Club passes may be used for all post-season games at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium.
Please note that for safety reasons, portions of North Campus Drive directly south and west of the stadium will be closed starting five hours prior to kickoff. At the conclusion of the game, all traffic from reserved lots will be funneled south and either west to Medary Avenue or east to 22nd Avenue. Vehicles from all other lots will be directed to travel farther south in order to exit campus. Due to capacity crowds expected throughout the season, please understand egress following the game's conclusion may take 35-45 minutes. TAILGATING
Due to the demand of football tailgating, SDSU Athletics has added an option for fans to reserve tailgate spaces in the Pink Lot, which is located north and west of Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium, in advance of gameday. Season-long tailgating spaces in the Pink Lot are SOLD OUT for the 2026 season. All vehicles, structures, etc., must be cleared by 5 p.m. on the Sunday following each home game. For single-game availability, contact the Jackrabbit Development Office at (605) 697-7475.
TICKETING
All tickets for Jackrabbit home events during the 2026-27 athletics season will be digital. Upon purchase, tickets will be sent to customers' e-mail addresses or via text message. Single-game tickets remain on sale at JackrabbitTickets.com.
New to 2026, Season Ticket Holders that choose to receive mobile tickets will receive an all-in-one mobile ticket that automatically updates in their Apple or Google Wallet. Instead of downloading a separate ticket for each game, fans will only see the upcoming home game. Once that game has concluded, the ticket will automatically update to the next home game on the schedule.
