He went on to average 19.8 points per game in being named North Central Conference Newcomer of the Year during the 1990-91 season in leading the Jackrabbits to the NCC postseason tournament title and a berth in the NCAA Division II North Central Regional.
The following season, White was honored as the NCC Most Valuable Player and received All-America recognition after averaging 22.6 points per game and leading the Jackrabbits to conference and regional titles and a berth in the NCAA Division II Elite Eight. His 747 points during the 1991-92 season stood as a Jackrabbit single-season record for 25 years.
At the time his career ended, White's scoring total ranked sixth in program history and ranked 14th at the time of his induction. His career average of 21.2 points over 65 games also is the best in program history.
