GREEN BAY, Wis. ? South Dakota State wanted to slow down the fourth game in a five game road trip Saturday in Green Bay, which they did. Unfortunately for the Jackrabbits though, Wisconsin-Green Bay kicked up the pace, and in the process, downed the injury riddled Jacks 80-48 in the shadows of Lambeau Field at the Resch Center.

Andy Kleinjan and junior Michael Loney sat out the game with injuries.
The Phoenix jumped out to an early 12-6 lead, then scored a quick nine points in just over two minutes to take a 24-9 lead. SDSU took its shots, but shot 26.3 percent (5-of-19) in the first half, and went into the break down 18 points, 34-16.
The Jacks came out strong in the second half and started to chisel away at the lead, but Green Bay's Mike Schachtner poured in seven points in a two minute span to put the Phoenix up by 22, and they never looked back.
Matt Cadwell led the Jacks with 14 points, Jose Frias scored 13 on 6-of-10 shooting and Blake Yackley pitched in 12 points in 20 minutes off the bench. Yackley finished the game shooting 4-of-5 from the floor, including 2-of-3 from three-point range.
Schachtner led the Phoenix with a game high 18 points, Ryan Tillema tallied 14 and Ryan Evanochko added 13.
Wisconsin-Green Bay shot 48.1 percent from the floor (25-of-52), while the Jacks finished shooting 38.6 percent (17-of-44).
The Phoenix out rebounded the Jacks 34-26 and committed eight less turnovers 14-6.
Wisconsin-Green Bay improves to 5-5 with the win, while the Jacks fall to 2-10.
South Dakota State wraps up its season long five game road trip on Tuesday night against Missouri-Kansas City in Municipal Auditorium. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
