The Huskers, who scored all three of their runs with two outs in the third, won the opener 8-1.
The two-game sweep puts the Huskers at an even 16-16, while the losses drop the Jacks to 11-19 heading into Friday's Summit League doubleheader against Centenary.
Jenna Marston went the distance in the nightcap, and took the loss, which drops her to 11-15.
SDSU came back to tie
Nebraska manufactured a first inning run in the first game of the day, only so see South Dakota State come back to tie things at 1-all in the third when a Jessica Vineyard blooper found the grass in right field and allowed Greta Stroh to score from second.
The Huskers quickly got that run, and three more, back in the bottom half of the inning, utilizing five hits and a Jackrabbit error to score four runs and take a 5-1 lead.
Kiley Schwedhelm went the distance for the Jacks, giving up 11 hits, eight runs, four earned and a pair of walks in the loss, which drops her to 0-4 on the season.
