Dale Moss tied his career-high with 14 points in the first half against UMKC on Saturday night and then added 13 more in the second half to boost his career-high to 27 points in the Jackrabbits 76-66 win over the Kangaroos at Frost Arena in front of 4,008 Corduroy Classic fans on Senior Night.
The win boosts the Jackrabbits record to 12-15 overall and to 7-8 in The Summit League, which ties them with IUPUI for fifth place in the league standings. UMKC falls to 6-21 overall and at the bottom of the league standings at 2-12 in league play.
Callahan, who tied a 51-year-old record by going 12-for-12 at the free throw line against Southern Utah on Thursday, extended his consecutive free throw streak to 25 after going 2-for-2 against UMKC.
At one point during the game, Moss also tied the single-game free throw record, but his 13th free throw with 1:27 left to play bounced off the front of the rim, thus keeping him from holding the record outright. He still finished the night 13-for-14 at the charity stripe.
The Jacks started the game off with a Callahan to Williams alley-oop dunk, and even though four lead changes and five ties followed in the fist half, UMKC never led by more than two points all night.
The final tie came at 17-all with 7:38 left in the first half, a tie the Jacks broke with a 13-0 run that put them up for good, as the Jacks never led by less than ten points for the remainder of the game.
SDSU led 36-21 at the half after shooting 61 percent (14-of-23) from the floor and after holding UMKC to 36.4 percent shooing (8-of-22).

UMKC did win the turnover battle 16-9 and led the Jacks 8-3 in steals, but the Jacks did get three blocks to the ?Roos one.
