Jackrabbits Road Trip Continues at TCU

FORT WORTH, Texas – With a pair of home wins and now its first road win of the season under its belt, South Dakota State continues its first road trip of the season on Saturday afternoon with its first-ever meeting with the TCU Horned Frogs at 1 p.m. in the Wilkerson-Greines Athletic Center.
The Jackrabbits enter the game, which marks the last of two stateside games in the Cancun Challenge, enter the game riding a season-opening three game winning streak that started with home wins over Chadron State and Weber State, followed by a win at Illinois State on Thursday in the first game of the Cancun Challenge.
All five Jackrabbits starters scored in double figures in the win over the Redbirds, while Reed Tellinghuisen recorded his first-career double-double in the game, which marked the first-ever meeting with Illinois State.
THE OPPONENT
TCU HORNED FROGS (2-0, 2-0 Home): Picked to finish eighth in a tie with Kansas State in the Big 12 Preseason Poll, the Horned Frogs opened the season with home wins over Southeastern Louisiana, 90-77, followed by a dominating 90-63 win over Houston Baptist on Thursday night.
With their home arena undergoing renovations, TCU played its opener at the University Rec Center and its last game in the Wilkerson-Greines Athletic Center, the same venue as Saturday's game.

SDSU plays its first of two games in Cancun, Mexico on Tuesday against Houston Baptist, and then plays either Cleveland State or Rider on Wednesday. The Jackrabbits then begin the journey home with a final game at Kansas City on Saturday, Nov. 28.
