The Jacks (19-8, 10-3 Summit) can win their 20th game of the season in Macomb, Ill., which would mark the 22nd 20-win season in program history, the 11th for head coach Scott Nagy and the third in the last four years.
SDSU picked up its 19th win of the season on Saturday against the Bison behind a balanced offensive attack that saw all five Jackrabbit starters score in double figures, with George Marshall leading the way with 19 points. Cody Larson scored 11 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds, as the Jacks finished with a 41-27 edge on the glass.
The Leathernecks (8-15, 3-9 Summit) return home riding a four game skid after losing their last three games on the road; falling at South Dakota 75-61 on Feb. 5, at Oral Roberts 77-67 on Feb. 12 and at Omaha 77-58 last Saturday.
TONIGHT'S OPPONENT
WESTERN ILLINOIS FIGHTING LEATHERNECKS (8-15, 3-9 Summit): The Leathernecks opened league play with two wins, but dropped their next five games, with the lone win in their last 10 games being a 63-59 home win over IUPUI on Jan. 30.
Western Illinois fell in both of its games last week, falling 77-67 at Oral Roberts on Thursday, and 77-58 at Omaha on Saturday.
THE SERIES vs. WESTERN ILLINOIS
The Jackrabbits lead the all-time series 16-3, with wins in each of the last 13 meetings, which includes season sweeps in the last five seasons, a pair of wins in The Summit League Championships and a win in the first meeting of the season at Frost Arena.
