By earning the No. 1 seed and at least a share of the regular season title, the Jacks (21-8, 12-3 Summit) also secured a postseason appearance, with and automatic bid to the NIT should they not win the tournament title.
The Coyotes (15-15, 8-7 Summit) secured either the No. 4 or No. 5 seed at the league tournament, either way, that means they play on Sunday at 6 p.m. against either Oral Roberts or Fort Wayne.
South Dakota enters its final regular season game of the season after a 66-48 loss to Denver on Wednesday night in the DakotaDome.
Along with SDSU being locked in to the No. 1 seed, NDSU is locked into the No. 2 seed and Western Illinois the No. 8 seed.
THE OPPONENT
SOUTH DAKTOA COYTOES (15-15, 8-7 Summit): Picked to finish eighth in the preseason poll, South Dakota earned either a No. 4 or No. 5 seed at next week's Summit League Championships after dropping a 66-48 game at home against Denver on Wednesday, which snapped the Coyotes season-long four game winning streak.
The Coyotes enter the final game of the regular season with a 7-5 record at home.
