SIOUX FALLS - The South Dakota State swimming and diving team continued to improve season-bests on the final day of the Coyote Invitational Saturday at the Midco Aquatic Center.
In the 100 breast,
Ashley Theobald,
Peter Matthews and
Tanner Davis had season-best times of 1:11.70, 58.91 and 1:00.24, respectively.
Ben Johnson had a career-best in the event with a 1:01.33.
Tiffany Nguyen had her season-best in the 100 IM (1:02.60), as well as
Alexandra Spinner (1:03.85).
Over the weekend, the Jacks won a total of seven events.
Kristin Erf and
Wyatt Rumrill both won the 100 breast, while
Cody Watkins won the 200 free.
Christopher Rumrill captured first in the 10 IM. Senior
Daniel Jacobson touched first in a total of three events, the 50 free, 100 free and 100 back.
