The South Dakota State swimming and diving teams both dropped their respective duals to South Dakota, Saturday. The women lost 213-83, while the men fell 163-137.
Trever Brenner won two events against the Coyotes to push his season win total to 10. With his first-place finish in the 200 free, his 1:54.33 time reset the DakotaDome pool record. The Jackrabbits won seven events, but failed to reset any season-best times.
"With the dual meet season in the book, we turn our attention to preparing for our conference championships," said head coach Doug Humphrey. "While today the scores didn't finish it off on our side, I am very confident in where we are this season. We are swimming fast and competing extremely well on the diving boards. We still have a lot of improving and potential and we will show that off in the next few weeks."
