Softball cancels Minnesota trip

With significant amounts of rain and snow looming on forecasts throughout the Midwest, the Jackrabbit softball team announced it will cancel its midweek trip to Minnesota.Â
South Dakota State and the Golden Gophers were set to meet Wednesday at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium in Minneapolis, but the Jacks will no longer make the drive because of weather. The game will not be made up.
SDSUÂ (25-10, 4-2 Summit League) turns its attention to a three-game set at North Dakota State this weekend. The Jacks will play the Bison in a noon doubleheader Saturday before concluding their stay in Fargo on Sunday at 11 a.m.
