SDSU Athletics announces staff additions

South Dakota State University Athletics has filled three positions in support of its 19-sport varsity athletics program.
The recent hires include:
Christy will work with all aspects of athletics development, including annual fund planning and execution, Letterwinners Club oversight and a variety of other fundraising initiatives. He previously served as a development assistant with the Huskers Athletic Fund at the University of Nebraska.
A native of Orange City, Iowa, Christy graduated from Northwestern College in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in business and sport management, and completed a master's degree in athletic administration from Nebraska earlier this year.
Englund previously worked in ticket sales and as a fan relations representative at the University of Minnesota while completing his master's degree in sports management.
Froseth served as the Jackrabbits' director of marketing on an interim basis during the 2018-19 athletics season, after previously serving stints as box office manager in the Jackrabbit Ticket Office and as an event specialist intern for athletics development.
An SDSU graduate, Froseth also has worked in support roles with the Brookings Blizzard (hockey), Minnesota Swarm (lacrosse) and Sioux Falls Canaries (baseball).
