MADIERA BEACH, Fla. -- South Dakota State's stay at THE 2020 Spring Games has been cut short, as event organizers have canceled the remaining games due to concerns surrounding COVID-19 exposure.
The Jackrabbits, whose season began with a 15-8 mark, had gone 7-2 at THE Spring Games and were scheduled to play four more between Friday and Saturday action.Â
The announcement comes in addition to The Summit League's suspension of regular season competitions for all league members on their campuses, and the NCAA's cancellation of all winter and spring championships.
Further information regarding South Dakota State University athletics events not covered under the Summit League or NCAA decisions will be posted on GoJacks.com when available.
