LOUISVILLE, Ky. – South Dakota State softball placed a Summit League-best 16 student-athletes on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar Athlete team for the 2020-21 academic year.
To earn the honor, a student-athlete must earn a 3.5 grade point average or greater.
As a team, the Jackrabbits turned in a GPA of 3.57 over the last academic year, which ranked 55th in the nation.
A total of 1,982 softball players from Division I received the honor.
