Tegan Bock, a multi event athlete from Boone, Iowa, has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete as a member of the Jackrabbits track and field team.
A four-event state championship qualifier in 2018 and 2019, Bock took second place in the 400m hurdles at districts in those same years, while also being named a Drake Relay qualifier. In 2019, the Boone High School product placed fifth at state finals in the 400m hurdles and sixth in the long jump. Also in 2019, Bock won the state title as a member of the Toreadors indoor 4x400.
Also a standout on the football field, he was named an All-District defensive back in 2018 and 2019 and was named Defensive MVP in the latter. In 2019, Bock finished the season in the top five in kickoff return yards in Iowa 3A football. His cousin Adam Bock is a member of the SDSU football team. He plans to major in exercise science.
