VERMILLION, S.D.— A slew of Jackrabbit throwers made the trip south for a weekday meet at the USD Twilight Wednesday. Final results from the meet can be found here.

Faith Leiseth took second in discus with a 157-11.75. Her previous best was a 155-00.00 and her new mark ranks seventh all-time at SDSU.

In the men's hammer throw, the Jacks landed four in the top five places. Sam Coil threw a 187-08.00 for first, Noah Huber followed with a 182-08.25 for second, Tyson Jenkins took fifth with a 169-05.50 mark and Calob Jones finished sixth with a 168-04.25.

In the women's hammer, Micayla TerWee captured fourth with a mark of 170-08.50.

Both men's discus throwers turned in new PRs on the day. Noah Huber threw for 168-07.75 for fourth place, while Austin Eppard finished fifth with a mark of 165-04.00. Huber's mark ranks him ninth all-time at State after being ranked tenth.

Paige Haakenson turned in a 103-05.75 in the javelin throw for seventh in the event.

The Jacks will now take a few days off before Drake Relays this Saturday in Des Moines.
