Head coach
Dan Georgalas and the South Dakota State volleyball team will host a Volleyball 101 event Friday, Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. in Club 71 of Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium.
"Volleyball 101 is an awesome event hosted by our staff and we are all super excited to connect with and grow our volleyball community," Georgalas said. "This event provides an opportunity for our fans to meet our players and network with our coaching staff during the middle of our fall training camp."
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn the basics of volleyball while engaging with the SDSU volleyball players and coaches.
"Most importantly, Volleyball 101 is about creating fun ways to teach the game of volleyball to our fans," Georgalas expressed. "By showcasing some of the details to our program, we hope to engage our newer fans so that they can get the most out of their gameday experience in the future. This event is about growing the game of volleyball and we can't wait to build stronger and new relationships with our expanding fan base."
The cost for the evenings' events is $25. It will include a buffet dinner, trivia games, prizes and more. Additionally, there will be a cash bar. The event is for adults 21 and older.
