SDSU ATHLETICS REVEALS PROMOTIONS, NEW HIRES

South Dakota State University Director of Athletics Justin Sell recently announced a number of promotions and new hires within the Jackrabbits' staff.
"As an athletics department, our success starts with the people. I am excited for these staff members expanded roles because it's earned and well deserved," Sell said. "I am equally thrilled to welcome our new employees to the Jackrabbit family."
Maggan Froseth and Jordon Boe earned expanded roles within the department. Froseth was promoted to an assistant athletic director for marketing and Boe was promoted to assistant athletic director for ticket sales and operations.
Within the Jackrabbit Club and athletics development, Ryan Christy was promoted to the assistant athletic director for development, while Sam Perelman was hired as the associate director of development.
Jackrabbit Sports Properties added two new individuals – Nick Heitkamp as business development manager and Oscar Chavez-Franco as sponsorship coordinator.
Megan Glover and Andy Stubblefield are new faces to the athletic communications department. Both will serve as assistant directors of communication.
In addition, Liz Pierre and Kendra Eichten will be serving as assistant academic advisors. Zach Hagen joined the department as the assistant director of tickets, Amy Anderson took on the position of accounting assistant and Reid Valsvig was hired as an equipment and facilities manager.
Danise Maas returned to Jackrabbit athletics in the role of an assistant athletic trainer. Maas will primarily work with track and field and cross country student-athletes. Megan Blomberg is also an assistant athletic trainer, working with softball and equestrian.
