South Dakota State returns to the mainland but continues its road stint with a matchup against Creighton Sunday afternoon in Omaha. The Jackrabbits look to build off a successful trip to Hawaii where they did not allow a goal in three matches. Several Jacks hail from the Omaha metro area, including Omaha natives

- South Dakota State (5-0-0) is off to its best start in school history. The Jacks started 4-0-0 in 2001, the programs second year of existence.
- The Jackrabbits entered the week ranked ninth in the United Soccer Coaches Poll West Region.
- Freshmen have been proving themselves in the Jackrabbit lineup early in the season, accounting for a third of SDSU's offensive production. Teani Arakawa (6), Avery Murdzek (6) and Laney Murdzek (5) have accounted for 17 of SDSU's 51 points (33%) this season.
- SDSU is one of 46 unbeaten teams remaining in Division I women's soccer.
- The Jackrabbits have not allowed a goal in over 345 minutes of game action.
- SDSU ranks third nationally in goals (18), fifth in points (51) and sixth in assists (15). The Jackrabbits' identity has historically been its stingy defense but own the No. 17 scoring offense in the nation this season, averaging 3.60 goals per game.
- Forward Maya Hansen ranks second in the nation in goals (5) and total points (12). The junior also ranks fourth nationally with two game-winning goals.
- Laney Murdzek's four assists are tied for the third-most in the country and are tied for the most by a freshman.
- Teani Arakawa, a Hawaii native, was responsible for the game-winner in SDSU's 1-0 win at Hawaii on August 29th.
- Taylor Lock is 3-0 when in between the pipes for SDSU. Entering the season, Lock had only recorded one shutout in her career and already has two this season.
- Jocelyn Tanner (2-0-0) leads the team with eight saves on the season and, her last time out, recorded a shutout against Hawaii.
- Rachel Preston anchors the Jackrabbit defense and leads the team in minutes with 412 on the season.
- Entering the season, Cece Limongi had scored three goals in over 1,100 minutes. The senior already has three goals in 223 minutes this season.
- Abigail Kastens scored her first goal of the season and the seventh of her career Wednesday against Hawaii Pacific.
- The Jacks have scored 18 goals so far this season, the second-most through five matches in school history. SDSU scored 19 goals in its first five matches in 2001.
