"The women in the opening White Race did a nice job of working together for many personal bests," said Rod DeHaven, Director of Track and Field and Cross Country. "In the Red Race, we were pretty good up front. But we definitely needed more out of our runners after our fourth. For the men, times look okay but probably fell short of what we were looking for from that group. We still have a couple of weeks to put in the work to make additional improvements."
UP NEXT: SDSU looks to repeat as league champions as the men and women compete in the Summit League Cross Country Championships in Grand Forks, ND on Oct. 29 set for an 11 a.m. start time.
