For the second year in a row, South Dakota State's football season opener will be played before a national television audience. The Jackrabbits' Sept. 3 game at Iowa will be televised on FS1.

Kickoff for the game at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City, Iowa, is set for 11 a.m. A limited number of tickets in the SDSU allotment are available for purchase through the Jackrabbit Ticket Office until June 23. For more information, call (605) 688-5422.

SDSU opened the 2021 season with a 42-23 victory at Colorado State, a game that also was televised on FS1. The Jackrabbits went on to post an 11-4 record and advanced to the Football Championship Subdivision national semifinals for the fourth time in five seasons.
