BROOKINGS, S.D. — The South Dakota State women's soccer program, in the midst of winning its 14th overall conference championship and en route to making its seventh NCAA Tournament appearance, has received six National Letters of Intent as part of the Jackrabbits' 2024 recruiting class. The six additions for the fall of 2024 include Adrianne Agbayani (Vancouver, Wash.), Mia Bosch (Thunder Bay, Ontario), Hailee Christensen (Sioux Falls, S.D.), Stephanie Leckwold (Battle Ground, Wash.), Solala Nasu (Honolulu, Hawaii) and Zoe Wittkop (Le Mars, Iowa).

Adrianne Agbayani | 5-2 | Forward | Vancouver, Wash. | Evergreen HS | Columbia Premier
Adrianne Agbayani has been an offensive standout as a forward in the Pacific Northwest in both club and high school soccer. Her high school exploits included several notable accolades. She was named the All-League 3A GSHL Player of the Year in 2022 and was a First Team selection back-to-back seasons. Agbayani was a member of consecutive conference championships for her club team and was the Girls Academy Northwest top scorer in 2022 by recording 32 goals and 23 assists. Agbayani plans to major in mathematics at South Dakota State.Â

She is a wonderful teammate and will be an incredible addition to an already stellar program in the Jacks. She has incredible potential with her best soccer in front of her. Mia Bosch | 5-7 | Midfielder | Thunder Bay, Ontario | Shattuck-St.Mary's/St. Ignatius
Mia Bosch hails from Thunder Bay, Ontario, but currently attends Shattuck-St Mary's in Minnesota. Bosch has played in several major competitions and has been a contributor at the national level. She represented Canada in the 2023 Lazio Cup earning a silver medal. She was an Ontario Team Finalist back-to-back years and a member of Juventus Team Canada in 2018. During the most recent 2022-23 slate, Bosch scored 35 goals and had 16 assists across 32 matches played. Bosch plans to major in education at SDSU.Â

Hailee Christensen | 5-6 | Forward/Midfielder | Sioux Falls, S.D. | Harrisburg HS | Dakota Alliance SC
Hailee Christensen is one of the most decorated state of South Dakota girls high school soccer players ever. Christensen holds Harrisburg's career, season and game records in both goals and assists. During her time as a Tiger on the pitch, Christensen totaled 78 goals and 59 assists across three varsity seasons and missed a possible fourth year due to injury as a sophomore.Â

Her soccer prep tenure concluded this fall by helping Harrisburg claim its second consecutive Class AA State Championship. Christensen was the State Championship Most Outstanding Player in the Tigers' title run in 2022. Both years she earned South Dakota All-State Team honors. She's also been a multiple time all-conference selection, served as a captain throughout her high school career and been honored by the state's Coaches Association as the Girls' Soccer Player of the Year.Â

Christensen has been a standout at the national level as well. The 2022 South Dakota Gatorade Player of the Year, this past year saw her earn United Soccer Coaches All-Region accolades and a nod to the organization's All-America Team, serving as the first ever honoree from South Dakota.Â

Along with individual honors, Christensen played a role in a USYS National Championship which earned her a Best XI team selection at the 17u level. She's previously participated in the 2019 USYS President's Cup, winning a 14u national title and earned the Golden Ball honor and a Best XI award.

Outside of soccer, Christensen has competed in track and field for Harrisburg in the sprint events. She's won a bronze medal at the state meet on a relay team and placed as high as seventh individually in the 100 meters. Academically, she holds a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of Student Council, National Honor Society, FCS and HOSA. Christensen plans to major in human biology.Â

She is a dynamic player that forces opponents to be aware of her at all times during a match because she is a goal scorer and a playmaker that sets up fantastic opportunities for her teammates. Hailee leads by example while pushing others to be better and grow on and off the field. I look forward to watching her continue her career seeing how she fits in the Jackrabbit Soccer Family."

Stephanie Leckwold  | 5-11 | Goalkeeper | Battle Ground, Wash. | Union HS | Columbia Premier SC
Stephanie Leckwold has been a strong contributor both on the high school and club levels of soccer. She's served as a multiple year captain for both and been chosen as the MVP of her high school squad. Leckwold registered a career-best goals against average of 0.18 during the 2022 club season, while she recorded a 0.43 clip across 950 minutes during her best high school campaign. She's also scored four goals from her goalkeeper position. Leckwold has been a member of ODP State and Regional Teams and earned a U.S. Soccer Training invitation. She's helped teams earn Surf Cup and State Cup Championships, while she was also a member of an undefeated team that competed in the Las Vegas Showcase in 2022. Leckwold plans to major in education.

She has incredible potential with her best soccer in front of her. We have high expectations for Stephanie as she will be a great addition to an already stellar program at South Dakota State."

Solala Nasu | 5-4 | Defender | Honolulu, Hawaii | University Laboratory School | Pac-5 | Leahi SC
Solala Nasu is a center back who has helped Pac-5 win consecutive Division II State High School Championships in the state of Hawaii and awaits to complete her senior campaign. In both championship runs, Nasu was named the State Tournament Most Outstanding Player. She is coming off a season in which she was named the ILH Division II Defensive Player of the Year and was chosen to ScoringLive's All-Hawaii First Team.Â

As a sophomore, Nasu was an All-State honorable mention by theÂ
Honolulu Star. She was chosen as an All Star by Scoring Live and by the ILH. She's been picked to the West Region ODP Team in 2022 and was part of a squad that claimed the Far West Regional Championship. Academically, Nasu is a 4.0 GPA student who at SDSU plans to major in psychology or pharmaceutical science.Â

"Solala is the epitome of a silent warrior. She's one of the most unselfish players I have ever coached and is a huge reason why our back line has had many shutouts. Solala is well respected by her teammates and they have the upmost trust in her to lead the back line. I have never seen her panic or get flustered in any high competitive games. South Dakota State is getting the best player, person and center back from Hawaii.Â

Zoe Wittkop | 5-3 | Forward | Le Mars, Iowa | Le Mars Community HS | Dakota Alliance SC
Zoe Wittkop has been a high performer at the both the club and high school levels of soccer. Wittkop competed with future teammate Hailee Christensen as a member of the USYS National Championship team in Dakota Alliance this past summer. They also claimed a USYS Midwest Championship. Wittkop previously earned a USYS Best XI honor in 2022 and helped her club squad to the Midwest Finals that same year.Â

Wittkop looks ahead to her senior season of high school soccer next spring. As a junior in 2023, she was only able to participate in eight contests and still found the back of the net 18 times. She was picked to the Iowa Class 2A All-State Second Team. She earned All-District and All-Conference honors as well. Wittkop plans to major in engineering or computer sciences.Â

"Zoe is an athlete of character. She is always willing to help where help is needed, is a true leader, is a motivator, is one of the hardest workers and is a true team player. Zoe has a go get em' attitude and I have always admired that as her coach and I know her teammates admire it as well. I am very proud of Zoe for the athlete she has become, as well as the person she has become. IÂ am excited for the big things her future holds. I know she will do great things and have an impact on the SDSU women's soccer team.

The South Dakota State women's soccer program looks ahead to its next NCAA Tournament match. The Jackrabbits are set to face Nebraska in Lincoln at 7 p.m. on Friday.Â
