Season tickets for the 2023 edition of South Dakota State football are now on sale online through JackrabbitTickets.com. Â
Â
The home schedule will consist of six games at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium, starting with the Sept. 2 season opener against Western Oregon when SDSUÂ will honor the defending Football Championship Subdivision national champion Jackrabbits.
SDSU also will host Montana State during the nonconference portion of the schedule in a rematch from their FCS semifinal playoff game. The Sept. 9 game has been designated as the 2023 Beef Bowl.
Â
Missouri Valley Football Conference play kicks off Sept. 30, when the Jackrabbits host North Dakota. The lone home date in October is the Hobo Day game versus Northern Iowa on Oct. 14, with games against North Dakota State (Nov. 4) and Missouri State (Nov. 18) rounding out the home slate. The annual Dakota Marker contest with North Dakota State also marks a rematch of the 2022 national championship game won by the Jackrabbits, 45-21.
Â
Season tickets for grandstand seating range from $99-215, plus the corresponding annual Jackrabbit Club per seat license (see chart). All new purchasers will be able to place a deposit for their desired number of tickets for the upcoming season and will be contacted for seat allocation after the April 7 renewal deadline for existing accounts. The Jackrabbit Club contribution will be collected during seat allocation. Deposits are non-refundable.Â
Â
Inquiries for premium seating options (club, loge) should be directed to the Jackrabbit Club at (605) 697-7475.Â
Â
All new and renewing football season ticket holders for the 2023 season will receive a commemorative gift from the 2022 FCS National Championship. Tickets must be renewed or purchased by April 7 to secure the commemorative gift.Â
Â
SDSU's Sept. 16 game against Drake at Target Field in Minneapolis is not part of the 2023 season ticket package. However, season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for that contest before they are made available to the general public this spring. All ticket sales for the SDSU-Drake game will be through the Minnesota Twins; more information will be distributed when available.Â
Â
The Jackrabbits claimed their first-ever national championship in football during the 2022 season and carry a school-record 14-game winning streak into the new year.Â
