SACRAMENTO, CA – Two Jackrabbits competed in the final races of the season for South Dakota State at the NCAA West Prelims as the 2023 outdoor track season officially came to a close at Sacramento State University.
Reid Pierzinski came up just short of qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the 400-meter hurdle quarterfinals. He finished fifth in his heat and 15th overall with a time of 51.16, which was .58 shy of the top 12.
Joseph Minor-Williams competed in his second of two events at the prelims and ran a 14:17.50 in the 5000-meter run for 21st in his heat and 32nd overall.
