ADOLPH TO RECEIVE RALPH GINN AWARD

Longtime Flandreau coach and educator Georgia Adolph has been named the 2023 recipient of the Ralph Ginn Award for Coaching Excellence at South Dakota State University.
Adolph will be honored Sept. 30 in conjunction with the Jackrabbit Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremonies. For information regarding tickets to the event, contact the SDSU Athletic Development Office at JackrabbitClub@sdstate.edu.
Over a career spanning 44 years, including the last 40 at Flandreau, Adolph has coached basketball, track and field and volleyball. A 1974 graduate of SDSU, she helped guide two student-athletes to state track and field titles, as well as a pair of silver medalists. She also served as head coach for the South Dakota All-Star volleyball squad in 1989.
Her long list of accolades include receiving the South Dakota High School Activities Association Girls & Women Sports Leadership Award in 2011 and being inducted into the South Dakota High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2012. In addition, she was named to the National High School Coaches Hall of Fame in 2019.
