SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The South Dakota State men's basketball team will play 16 conference contests, with the schedule beginning on Dec. 31, as The Summit League announced its full-league slate for the upcoming 2023-24 basketball season on Thursday. 
 
The Jackrabbits begin the conference schedule at home on New Year's Eve with SDSU hosting North Dakota. Following the Big Sky-Summit League Challenge matchups from Jan. 3-6, SDSU plays back-to-back road games before returning to Frost Arena to take on Omaha on Jan. 18. The Jacks head to Vermillion to face South Dakota on Jan. 20. 
 
SDSU faces another split of contests the following week. The Jackrabbits host Kansas City on Jan. 25, then travel to Tulsa to visit Oral Roberts on Jan. 27. 
 
The start of February features three consecutive home games for the Jackrabbit men. SDSU hosts North Dakota State (Feb. 1), North Dakota (Feb. 3) and Oral Roberts (Feb. 10) before playing another pair of road games. SDSU participates in its final two games in Frost Arena on Feb. 22 and Feb. 24 when the Jacks compete against Denver and St. Thomas, respectively. 
 
The Jacks close out the regular season on the road. SDSU heads to Grand Forks to square off with North Dakota on Feb. 29, then close out the ledger by facing North Dakota State in Fargo on March 2.
 
The conference schedule leads up to The Summit League Conference Championship which takes place from March 8-12 in Sioux Falls, S.D., at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
