Â
"We view Griffen as the best player in the state and for him to be a Jackrabbit is really important for us," Henderson said. "It's also says a lot about the state as a whole on how good the coaching and development is of players in our state.
Â
"As far as Griffen, he's a very skilled athlete. He is able to handle the ball, make plays off the bounce, but then also has incredible range. His ability to make others around him better is really special."

Davis Kern | 6-9 | Forward | Marion, Iowa | Lin-Marr HS | Martin Bros Select
Davis Kern is a senior at Lin-Marr High School in Marion, Iowa. Kern is coming off a junior campaign that saw him claim First Team All-State accolades and be awarded as the Gazette-Area Player of the Year.

The son of Danielle and Dustin, Kern enters his senior season as one of 15 candidates for Mr. Basketball in Iowa.Â

"We're ecstatic to have Davis coming into our program," Henderson said. "With his size and his ability to stretch the floor, those tangibles make him a weapon on the offensive end. He's a physical player inside the paint as well which allows us a lot of flexibility."
