South Dakota State center Gus Miller added to his list of postseason awards Tuesday by earning a spot on the 2024 Walter Camp Football Championship Subdivision All-America Team.
A senior from Brookings, Miller anchored a Jackrabbit offensive line that paved the way for SDSU to average 36.6 points and 441.9 yards of total offense during the regular season. He was honored as the 2023 recipient of the Rimington Award as the top center in the Football Championship Subdivision and in recent weeks was named to All-America teams selected by The Associated Press (first team), American Football Coaches Association (first team), Stats Perform (first team), FCS Football Central (first team) and Phil Steele (second team).
Miller was a three-year starter at center for the Jackrabbits, who went a combined 41-4 from 2022-24 and won consecutive national championships in 2022 and 2023.
