Ten South Dakota State student-athletes are part of a record class for the 2024 National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame Hampshire Honor Society.

The Jackrabbit honorees are:
Nominated by their respective schools, members of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society must be a senior player who completed his final year of playing eligibility in 2023, been a starter or key contributor throughout the 2023 season and maintained a minimum undergraduate cumulative grade-point average of 3.2.

SDSU was one of 59 schools across all divisions and one of 10 Football Championship Subdivision programs with 10 or more honorees. Across all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA and sprint football, a record total of 1,989 student-athletes from 339 schools qualified for membership.

In addition, South Dakota State is one of 23 programs to have had at least one player honored in all 18 years (2007-present) of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society, with 104 Jackrabbit football student-athletes honored since its inception. The initiative has now recognized more than 18,000 student-athletes.
