BROOKINGS, S.D. — South Dakota State and Kansas City's upcoming softball series slated for this weekend in Brookings at Jackrabbit Softball Stadium has been updated.

Due to anticipated weather conditions in the area on Sunday, along with field conditions, the three-game series will change from starting on Saturday to beginning on Friday.

The two teams are scheduled to play a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 5, at Jackrabbit Softball Stadium. The Jacks and Roos will be slated for a single game on starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 6.

If field conditions are not ready for the 2 p.m. first pitch on Friday, a single game will instead be played Friday and started later in the day. The doubleheader would then take place on Saturday.

The Jackrabbits' updated schedule will be reflected as changes occur on their online schedule page at GoJacks.com. Fans can also follow the team's social media pages @GoJacksSB for updates as well.
