United Soccer Coaches Story

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The United Soccer Coaches organization announced on Thursday the College Team Academic Award winners. South Dakota State was one of the programs recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2023-24 academic year.

A total of 246 women's programs posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher across all levels of college soccer. Those programs earned United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award honors for the 2023-24 academic year. The SDSU program recorded a cumulative 3.31 GPA during the previous academic year.

South Dakota State returns to action in 2024 following a Summit League tournament championship season in 2023. The Jackrabbits head to Creighton for an exhibition on Aug. 7, followed by a home exhibition at 2 p.m. on Aug. 10 at Fishback Soccer Park against Jamestown. SDSU officially opens the season on Aug. 15 with a 7 p.m. match in Brookings versus Kansas.
