LARSON TAKES THIRD PEAK PERFORMER ACCOLADE

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — South Dakota State's Cody Larson earns the Kwik Star Summit League Men's Cross Country Peak Performer of the Week as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.
Larson takes this honor for the third time following a top-10 finish at the Pre-Nationals Invitational, hosted by the University of Missouri. The South Dakota native blew away his personal record of 24:16.0 by nearly a minute, crossing the line at 23:17.9 to take eighth among power conference competition.
Larson has competed in three meets this season, and has been tabbed as the weekly Peak Performer after each competition.
Up Next: Larson and the Jackrabbits will be back in action at the Summit League Conference Championship, at Mahoney State Park in Ashland, Neb. on Nov. 1.
