TULSA, Okla. - The South Dakota State volleyball team made quick work of Oral Roberts Saturday afternoon in a 3-0 road sweep of the Golden Eagles at Mabee Center. Set scores went 25-17, 25-11, 25-20 in the 82-minute match.
SDSU improves to 3-0 in Summit League play and is 9-3 overall. ORU is 0-4 in the Summit League and 2-14 on the year.Â
The Jackrabbits hit .369 for the match, the best single-match hitting percentage for the team since early in the 2023 season. SDSU's defense held ORU to just .075 hitting with 20 attack errors
SDSU notched 10 blocks as a team, led by three block assists apiece for the Jackrabbit middles, Sydni Schetnan and Madison Burr, plus a solo block for Schetnan. Annalee

, Rylee Martin and Sylvie Zgonc took part in two blocks each.
Zgonc tallied 11 kills to lead the Jackrabbit attack, followed by
Hannah Klein with nine. Schetnan and Burr added seven and six kills, respectively, and both hit better than .600 for the contest.
Maggie Meister posted 10 digs and a pair of ace serves.
Rylee Martin gave out 32 assists and had nine digs.
ORU's Hayden Hart had 10 kills.
NOTES
ORU still leads the all-time series 19-14 but SDSU has won each of the last six meetings.
