SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — South Dakota State's Cody Larson earns the Summit League Cross Country Athlete of the Year award, as announced by the conference Tuesday afternoon.
Larson earned this award after winning the Summit League Championship with a personal and meet record time of 23:15.59. Later in the season, the South Dakota native qualified for NCAA Cross Country Nationals after a 13th place finish at the Midwest Regional meet with a 10K time of 30:37.1. Larson rounded out the cross country season with a 98th place finish at the NCAA Championships with a time of 29:34.2.
