DIXON TAKES PEAK PERFORMER

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — South Dakota State's Brielle Dixon was awarded Kwik Star Summit League Women's Indoor Track Peak Performer of the Week as announced by the conference Tuesday afternoon.
Dixon received this award following her record-breaking 60-hurdles performance at the Iowa State Classic last Saturday. The senior beat her previous program record by 0.02 seconds to win the event. Along with becoming South Dakota State's 60-hurdle program record, Dixon's time of 8.28 is also the fastest in the Summit League so far this season, setting her up for a successful run at the conference championship meet in less than a month.
Up Next: The Jackrabbits will host the SDSU Classic beginning Friday evening and running all day Saturday, Feb. 15.
