EIGHT JACKS NAMED ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT

Eight South Dakota State student-athletes were recognized Tuesday as members of the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Team for Division I football by the College Sports Communicators.
The Jackrabbits' honorees included:
Based on the combination of their athletic and academic accomplishments, the quartet of Christensen, Clayborne, Olivia and Pelham have been chosen for inclusion on the national ballot for Academic All-America® consideration later this month.
Nominees to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team® must be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing, a starter or key reserve who played in at least 75 percent of his team's games and carry at least a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average.

- Grahm Goering, senior, wide receiver, Iowa City, Iowa;

- Bryce Johnson, junior, linebacker, Parker, Colorado;
- Kaydon Olivia, senior, long snapper, Schertz, Texas;
- Max Pelham, senior, punter, Ankeny, Iowa;
- Aaron Wolfcale-Holsten, senior, defensive lineman, Gilbert, Arizona.
