BROOKINGS, S.D. - South Dakota State volleyball has announced the team will host Nebraska for a regular season match during the 2026 season on Wednesday, September 2 at First Bank & Trust Arena.
South Dakota State went 23-5 in 2025 and repeated as the Summit League regular season champion with a perfect 16-0 conference record. The Jackrabbits earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament and played against Arizona in the opening round at Stanford. Nebraska finished 2025 with a 33-1 overall record and was ranked third in the final AVCA poll.
Tickets for the Nebraska match will not be included in the season ticket package for the 2026 volleyball season, however 2026 season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets for that match at a discounted price.
2025 volleyball season ticket holders can renew their season tickets for the 2026 season beginning Tuesday, March 10. Once season tickets have been renewed, season ticket holders can then purchase their same seats for the Nebraska match. The deadline for season ticket renewals is May 26.
Fans interested in purchasing new season tickets for 2026 can request up to eight season tickets beginning March 10 through May 26, and tickets will be allocated based on Jackrabbit Club priority points status. New season tickets will be allocated in June. At that time, new season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase their season ticket seats for the Nebraska match.
All 2026 volleyball season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase additional single-game tickets for all home matches July 7-8. Season ticket holders and Jackrabbit Club members will be able to purchase tickets for all home matches July 9-13.
Any remaining single-game tickets for all home matches will go on sale to the general public on July 14. Ticket claims for South Dakota State students will start at the beginning of the fall 2026 semester. More student ticket information will be shared at a later date.
