BROOKINGS, S.D. – The upcoming Summit League softball series between South Dakota State and North Dakota has been altered due to anticipated weather conditions.

The Jackrabbits and Fighting will now begin their series at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Jerald T. Moriarty Field. SDSU will still play at 1 p.m. on Sunday. The final game of the series is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. first pitch Monday in Brookings.

The series against North Dakota serves as the home-opening games of the 2026 season for South Dakota State. The Saturday meeting will be a 'Strikeout Cancer' game with a special first pitch scheduled prior to the contest.
