SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — South Dakota State's Ellie Harris earns the Summit League Kwik Star Female Track Athlete of the Week award, as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon.
Harris earns this honor after besting the SDSU outdoor 200-meter program record by 0.01 seconds at the Jim Duncan Invitational last Friday. The sophomore clocked a time of 23.81 to break Carly Carper's decade-old record of 23.82. Harris is now the second Jackrabbit in program history to run under 24 seconds in an outdoor 200-meter race.
