South Dakota State will be featured in two nationally televised games during the upcoming 2026 football season, following the release of broadcast network schedules this week.
For the third season in a row, the annual Interstate Series clash between the Jackrabbits and rival South Dakota will be part of the Missouri Valley Football Conference's television package with the ESPN family of networks. Kickoff time and network designation for the Oct. 31 game at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium will be announced at a later date.
SDSU's Sept. 5 matchup at Northwestern will air on the Big Ten Network. Kickoff for the game at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium in Evanston, Illinois, is slated for 7 p.m.
South Dakota State, 9-5 a season ago, has qualified for the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs each of the last 14 seasons. The Jackrabbits are scheduled to kick off the 2026 campaign with an Aug. 29 home game versus Stetson.
