2020-21: Wrestled at his third different weight class as a Jackrabbit, holding the starting spot at 165 pounds for most of the season ... posted 3-0 record at Air Force Multi, highlighted by pin of the Falcons' Vincent Dolce in dual action (1/17) ... that performance ignited a six-match winning streak in which he also notched bonus-point victories in duals against Oklahoma, Stanford and Little Rock at Little Rock Quad (1/31) ... notched a 15-5 major decision over Canon Swanson of North Dakota State in lone action at the Last Chance Challenge (2/20) ... went 0-2 at Big 12 Wrestling Championship (3/6) ... member of Academic All-Big 12 Wrestling First Team for fourth time
2019-20: Shared time in the starting lineup at 157 pounds while battling injuries ... opened the season with 13-6 decision over Utah Valley's Jed Loveless in dual action (11/22) ... turned in 1-2 record at Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational (12/6) ... final victory of the season was a 4-0 decision over Derek Holschlag, a win that helped propel the Jackrabbits to an upset dual victory at nationally ranked Northern Iowa (1/10)
2018-19: Moved up to the 157-pound weight class … turned in a 12-14 overall record, including a 6-7 mark in duals … picked up first dual win with 5-3 decision over Minnesota’s Miles Patton (11/25) … knocked off nationally ranked Hunter Willits, 3-2, to help Jackrabbits record come-from-behind dual win at Oregon State (12/16) … went 2-2 at Midlands Championships, with both of his victories by major decision (12/29) … capped season by going 2-2 at Big 12 Wrestling Championship (3/9)
2017-18: Held the starting spot at 149 pounds throughout the season ... finished with an 8-17 overall record, including a 3-11 mark in duals ... claimed the 149-pound title at the Bison Open, posting a 4-0 record (11/11) ... won both of his matches at Dakota Showcase (12/3) ... added dual win over Grant LaMont of Utah Valley in Big 12 action (1/12)
2016-17: Redshirted during first season with the Jackrabbits, but competed in open tournaments ... compiled a 25-13 overall record and placed in top eight of weight class in five different tournaments ... began collegiate career by posting 4-2 record with pair of falls at Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open (11/6) ... finished sixth with 4-3 mark at UNI Open (12/3) ... recorded fifth-place finishes at both Husky Open (12/10) and Ridgewater Open (1/14) ... closed season with third-place effort at Sioux City Open, winning final four matches (2/4)
BEFORE SDSU: Set a Willmar High School record for career wins with a 225-42 varsity record ... a three-time all-state honoree, he won 124 matches by pin and capped his career by winning the Class 3A state title at 160 pounds ... recorded 227 takedowns during his senior season ... also received academic all-state recognition two times
