CROSS COUNTRY: Redshirted. Competed in two races unattached…Finished third at the Briar Cliff Invite in a time of   25:17 for 8k.
2021-22:
OUTDOOR: Redshirted.
INDOOR:Â Redshirted. Ran best times of 4:18 for the mile and 8:29 for 3k while competing unattached.
CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in the Augustana Twilight unattached finishing 20th in a time of 20:23.1 for 4miles. Ran attached at the Griak Invitational running 26:11.2 for 8k. Established personal best 8k time at the Nuttycomb Invitational of 26:06. Finished 37th at the Summit League Championships.

Knodle while at West Fargo-Cheyenne High School matured into a three-time Class 'A' state cross country participant, earning all-state honors along the way (2018, 2019, 2020)...first as freshman finishing 49th , then an all-state performance crossing the line seventh as a sophomore and then recorded the highest individual finish in school history of third overall to cap off his junior year...Knodle was a four-time all-conference recipient in track & field...during the 2019 track season, he ran 9:01 for the 3200 meters, which is the fourth fastest all-time in North Dakota.
