Before SDSU: Was an honorable mention all-state selection for coach Bobby Dishman at Ainsworth Community School ... three-year starter and four-year letterman in football ... had 38 unassisted tackles plus 55 assists and 15 1/2 sacks in three seasons ... also lettered three times in track
