2016-17: Held a national ranking throughout the season, climbing to as high as No. 4 in Intermat rankings in December ... won 197-pound title at Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open, knocking off nationally ranked Aaron Studebaker of Nebraska, 3-1 in overtime, in the finals ... defeated Cash Wilcke of Iowa in home dual meet (12/2) ... reached championship bout of the Midlands Championships, winning first four matches before falling 4-1 in rematch with Studebaker (12/29-30) ... ran dual winning streak to 11 with nine straight victories at the start of the calendar year, including wins by fall against Wyoming (1/13), Gardner-Webb (1/28) and Utah Valley (2/4) ... was slowed during the home stretch of the season by injury suffered in February in dual at West Virginia (2/9) ... placed fourth at Big 12 Championship with 2-2 record to earn third consecutive berth in national meet (3/4-5) ... was seeded ninth at NCAA Championships and finished with 1-2 mark (3/16-17) ... lone win was a 4-1 decision over Northern Iowa's Jacob Holschlag (3/16)

2014-15: Flourished in the 197 pound weight class by finishing the season 22-12 overall for the second year in a row ... posted a 12-4 dual record, including an 8-6 decision in his dual debut versus Oklahoma State’s Austin Shafer (Nov. 15) ... finished second in Warren Williams/Daktronics Open (Nov. 2) and first place at the Bison Open (Nov. 8) … earned at-large berth in NCAA Championships
