2019-20: Backed up at several of the upper weights, ending the season with a 10-10 record ... tied for fifth at the Bison Open in the 174-pound weight class (11/9), followed by a fourth-place finish at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open a week later (11/17) ... three of his four victories at the Bison Open were by fall ... earned two pins in the 184-pound division at the Dave Edmonds Sioux City Open (2/1) ... closed season with a third-place effort in the 197-pound weight class at the Last Chance Open, notching pins in both of his victories (2/22)

2018-19: Saw action in three different weight classes … wrestled at 184 pounds during open tournaments, while filling in at 197 pounds in duals during the first month of the season … top performance in open tournaments was turning in a 2-2 record at the UNI Open (12/8) … dropped down to 174 pounds after the start of the new calendar year … lone dual victory of the season was a pin of West Virginia’s James Wujek in home finale (2/24) … went 0-2 at Big 12 Wrestling Championship (3/9)

2017-18: Redshirted during first season in the Jackrabbit wrestling program ... compiled a 9-13 record while competing in open tournaments ... posted 2-2 record in season-opening Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open, including winning first collegiate match by pin (11/5) ... wrestled way to runner-up finish in 184-pound weight class at MSU Dragon Open in return to hometown (12/2) ... recorded fourth-place finishes at UNI Open (12/9) and North Country Open (1/27)

BEFORE SDSU: Was a three-sport standout at Moorhead High School … on the wrestling mat, was a four-time state qualifier who compiled a 187-37 career record with 110 pins … won Class AAA state title at 195 pounds as a senior, following a runner-up finish as a junior ... placed fourth at 160 pounds as a sophomore and qualified for state meet as a freshman in the 170-pound division … earned All-America honors at Fargo USA Wrestling Junior Freestyle Nationals … in football, was an all-district selection as a senior while playing fullback and linebacker … also lettered four times in track and field, competing in the hurdles and 400-meter dash … team captain in all three sports … two-time academic all-state selection and a recipient of the Minnesota Wrestling Coaches Association Scholarship ….
