2017-18: Enjoyed a strong redshirt season in the Jackrabbit wrestling program, winning a pair of division titles at open tournaments ... won the 157-pound title at both the Finn Grinaker Open (11/18) and MSU Dragon Open (12/2) as he began his collegiate career with six consecutive victories ... added runner-up finishes at the Worthington Open (1/20) and North Country Open (1/27)
BEFORE SDSU: Was a four-time state finalist for Oak Park High School in Kansas City, where he put together a career record of 126-10 … won the Missouri Class 3 152-pound state title as a sophomore, followed by respective runner-up finishes in Class 3 as a junior and Class 4A as a senior … finished senior season with a 35-2 record … also placed second at 120 pounds as a freshman … four-time district champion and four-time all-conference honoree … also earned All-America honors in Cadet Freestyle and was a member of the Missouri national dual team … in football, was his team’s defensive MVP as a senior and was a second-team all-conference selection at linebacker as a junior … member of the National Honor Society
