Evan Traxler

Title:
Defensive Quality Control

Evan Traxler continues his association with the Jackrabbit football team as defensive quality control during the 2023 season. His responsibilities include coordinating the scout team offense, film breakdown and assisting coaching the team's linebackers.

A native of Le Center, Minnesota, Traxler previously served as a student coach from 2019-21. He has been a part of Jackrabbit teams that won Missouri Valley Football Conference titles during both the 2020-21 and 2022 seasons en route to a pair of appearances in the Football Championship Subdivision national title game. SDSU claimed its first football national championship during the 2022 campaign.

He earned bachelor's degrees in geography and Geographic Information Sciences (GIS) from SDSU in 2022 and is currently pursuing a master's degree in geography.
