Lane Peterson

Title:
Quality Control – Offense

Lane Peterson joined the Jackrabbit football staff in July 2024 as an offensive quality control coach. He will assist with coaching the wide receivers, as well as assisting the coaching staff with film breakdown, and coaching the defensive scout team.

Prior to coming to Brookings, Peterson spent the 2023 season with Lakeland University, a Division III program in his home state of Wisconsin. While at Lakeland, Peterson primarily served as the school's wide receivers coach, but also served as their video and equipment coordinator.

Peterson spent the 2021 and 2022 seasons as the offensive coordinator at St. Mary Catholic High School in Neenah, Wisconsin. At St. Mary, Peterson helped the team improve their record from 5-11 to 18-0 in the two seasons he was there.

Peterson's football experience also includes time at Northern Illinois University, Kaukauna High School, and serving as a graduate assistant at Florida Atlantic University during the 2017 season.
