Josh saw action in 14 games over two seasons at Northern Illinois, combining to complete 59 percent of his passes (143-of-241) for 1,282 yards and six touchdowns, as well as rush for 385 yards ... one of his three starts during the 2024 campaign came in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, a game in which he earned MVP honors after completing 18-of-30 passes for 182 yards and touchdowns, as well as rushing 16 times for 65 yards and catching a pass for a 2-point conversion ... as a prep athlete, he was a three-time all-state honoree who accounted for 38 total touchdowns — rushing and receiving —his senior season at Marengo Community High School, including eight in one game ... also was a two-time team captain
